Then the 12th Annual Benefit Festival is held on Saturday, July 30 at Shallowford Square in Lewisville. It is the finale for our monthlong Cookout for Wishes fundraising events during July. The Cookout for Wishes program gives the public the opportunity to have cookouts with friends and family and/or "parties for a cause" as fundraisers for Make-A-Wish. They invite folks over and ask for donations. They can mail, drop the money raised by the MAW office, or bring it to the July 30 Benefit Festival, present it at that time and be recognized for their efforts.
