9th Annual Triad Benefit Festival
The Ninth Annual Benefit Festival for Make-A-Wish was held on Sunday, June 15 in Lewisville. It was a beautiful day of music, food, games and entertainment that raised $20,000. 3rd Annual Providence Country Club Ladies Tennis Tournament
The 3rd Annual Providence Country Club Members-Guests Ladies Tennis Tournament benefitting the Make-A-Wish Foundation was held on May 29, 2008 and raised $30,553.77 this year. A special thanks to Rani Shea, her committee members, and the volunteers who helped that day for making the event a success!
Walk for Wishes - Greensboro
Our first Greensboro "Walk for Wishes" was held at Proehlific Park on May 10. Thanks to Ricky Proehl for allowing us to use his new Athletic complex for our event. The participants who helped raise over $45,000 included many Make-A-Wish volunteers, walking teams from our Wish Families, Sponsors and the general public. We will see everyone again next year. Thanks to all for your support.
Winston-Salem Celebrity Serve
The inaugural Winston-Salem "Celebrity Serve" was held on April 16. Eleven restaurants, over 20 celebrities participated and hundreds of diners helped raise over $9,000 for the evening. Thanks to all and we are planning our second event in March of 2009. www.celebrityserve.org
